For the last decade, I have created mixed-material sculpture, site murals, and ceramic objects for private clients and juried exhibits in the Mid-Atlantic region, including in Washington, Philadelphia and New York.

Born in Washington, I spent ten years of my early life in the deserts of Jordan and Saudi Arabia, which inspire my interest in natural forms and earthen palettes to this day.

My MBA is from the University of Maryland and BA in International Relations from the University of Virginia. Graduate level ceramic courses at Hood College in Maryland round out my education.

2009 saw several exciting developments, including an art residency, a grant, and becoming a board member of the Washington Sculptors Group. My summer residency at Rocky Mountain Recycling, a metal scrap yard in Denver, gave me the opportunity to work in new metals, including stainless steel, lead, and copper, while introducing me to oxy-acetylene torch reduction techniques. The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities grant supported an exhibition of a new body of work, printing micro and macro images on steel.
